MILLERSBURG • William R. “Bill” Schreiber, age 57, of Millersburg, Pa., passed away April 15, 2019, at his home. He was born Sept. 3, 1961, in Harrisburg, Pa., son of the late Kenneth Schreiber and Dorothy (Troup) Thumma, who survives him, of Millersburg. Bill was married to Jill Schreiber of Millersburg, who also survives him. Bill was a member of the American Legion Post 326 in Millersburg and the Millersburg VFW Post 5507. He was known by many as “Chicken Bill” for his famous chicken. In addition to his mother and wife, Bill is survived by a daughter Melissa Fry (David) of Millersburg; a granddaughter Janelle Foulkrod of Millersburg; a sister Kathy Figgs (Wayne) of Salisbury, Md.; nephews Johnny and Jason Isenhour; great-nephew Zachary Isenhour; stepfather Ron Thumma. Services were held April 20, 2019, at the American Legion Post 326 in Millersburg. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to either the American Legion Post 326, 527 N.
