William J. Strohecker
JACKSON TWP. • William J. Strohecker, 85, passed away on April 13, 2020, at his residence.
He was born in Herndon on June 19, 1934, a son of the late Mabel and Charles O. Strohecker.
William worked for the railroad and then later in construction.
He was a member of the Union County Sportsman’s Club, and Herndon Fire Company.
William is survived by his wife of 67 years, Barbara Strohecker; son, Michael J. Strohecker; daughter, Deborah A. Lahr; one brother; two sisters; six grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Jamie L. Strohecker, and three sisters.
