Wendy Sue Walter
MILLERSBURG- Wendy Sue Walter, 54, of Lebo Street, passed away May 1, 2020, with her family by her side. She was born in Harrisburg March 16, 1966. She was the daughter of the late Ronald L. Miller and Fern A. (Bowman) Miller. She was the sister of the late Lon A. Miller. She is survived by her husband David H. Walter, Millersburg. She is also survived by one sister, Darla (Rusty) Smith of Halifax and two nephews, Ross Smith and Rafe (Lindsey) Smith all of Halifax; two nieces, Alicia (Connor) Trainer of Linglestown and Hayley Miller of California. She also leaves behind many close relatives. Wendy worked in the insurance industry all of her working career. Family and friends will remember Wendy as “What you see is what you get”. She was an honest, just, kind, caring woman who trusts and believes in God and Jesus. She enjoyed photography, gardening, going for walks, shopping and spending time with friends and family. She loved animals, wildlife and nature and enjoyed taking pictures of it all. There will be a private viewing and service held at the convenience of the family with burial at Riverview Memorial Gardens, Halifax. A memorial service will be planned at a later date and will be posted on the funeral home website. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Central PA, 1320 Linglestown Rd., Harrisburg, PA 17110 Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home LTD, Millersburg, handled the arrangements.
