TVL playoff series canceled; Trojans, Eagles are champs

The Tri-Valley League announced late in the morning of May 15 that all league playoff games have been canceled for both baseball and softball.

Using a tie-breaker formula instituted last year, Upper Dauphin Area was named champion for baseball and Line Mountain for softball.

As of this posting (the afternoon of May 15), Williams Valley still was scheduled to take the field at Blue Mountain at 4:30 in the Schuylkill League softball semifinal. The winner advances to the finals at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 16, also at Blue Mountain.
