READING • Timothy J. Whiteash, 38, formerly of Tower City, passed away Saturday, Aug. 31 in Reading. He was born March 15, 1981, in Coaldale, a son of Esther Rockwell of Girardville and the late David Whiteash. At the age of two, Bill and Ruth Davidson, Mahanoy City, became his legal guardians and raised him in Tower City. He was a 1999 graduate of Williams Valley High School. He currently was employed as a laborer at a distribution center in Reading. He is survived by his mother, Esther Rockwell; his legal guardians, Bill and Ruth Davidson; his wife, Cara Klinger Whiteash of Lykens; his children, Breanna and Isaac Whiteash both at home; a stepson, Zachary Burian; siblings: Brenda Shadle of Fountain Springs, Derek Davidson of Mahanoy City; Kristen Evans of Ashland; Joe Breslin of Camp Hill, Michelle Keffer of Tower City and John Davidson of Frackville; and an uncle. A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, Sept. 7 at 11 a.m. from the Calvary United Methodist Church, Wiconisco. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. at the church.
