WILLIAMSTOWN • Thomas F. Hoover, 82, died Jan. 1 at UPMC – Pinnacle, Harrisburg. He was born May 6, 1937, in Lykens, a son of the late Clair and Catherine Pinkerton Hoover. He was a retired carpenter and also worked for many years doing landscaping. He was preceded in death by two sons, Keith and Tom Hoover; siblings: Clair Hoover, Edward Hoover, Kathryn Davis, Brenda Shoop and Bonnie Gilibar. He is survived by his wife Sharon Rhoades Hoover; his children, Nicole Hoover of Harrisburg; Bridget Shoop of Lykens; Ronald Hoover, Harrisburg; Kevin Hoover and Doug Hoover, both of Tower City; a brother, Richard Hoover of Williamstown; Carol Kahler of Pillow; Winifred Neidig of Tremont; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and friends.
