HALIFAX • Thomas D. Blose, age 76, of Halifax, Pa., passed away Aug. 27, 2019, at Premier at Susquehanna Village. He was born July 11, 1943, in Hummelstown, Pa. He was the son of the late Joseph Blose and Zelma Zinn Blose. He was the widower of Erna Bell Blose. Thomas was a retired cement truck driver from Pennsy Supply. He enjoyed outdoor activities like hunting, fishing and camping. He also was an avid gardener. Thomas was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Millersburg, where he also volunteered in his spare time. Thomas is survived by his three sons: Thomas E. Blose (Dawn) of Halifax, Matthew Blose of Halifax, and Mark Blose of Littlestown; six grandchildren: Christopher, Amanda, Brennen, Hailey, Tinleigh and Brandon; one great- granddaughter, Layla Bell; and three sisters: Yvonne, Cheryl and Gail. There will be a visitation from 10-11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 6, 2019, at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Millersburg. Funeral Mass will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Harrisburg. Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home, Ltd., Millersburg, is handling the arrangements.
