TOWER CITY • Terry A. Kissinger, 75, died Dec. 9 at his residence. He was born July 12, 1944, in Pottsville, a son of the late Joseph and Doris Evans Kissinger. He was a 1963 graduate of the former Porter Tower High School. He was a retired truck driver, working for Central Storage and American Steel. He was a member of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, Orwin; the Orwin Gun Club; and the Porter Tower Lions Club. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Ellen Kissinger Leitzel; and a sister Diane Lebo. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Karen Shomper Kissinger; two daughters, Lisa D’Agostino of Pine Grove and Amy Stauffenberg of Tower City; three grandsons; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Donald Kissinger of Mechanicsburg; and several nieces and nephews. Services were held Dec. 13 from St. Peter’s UCC, Orwin. Burial was in the church cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Tower City Fire Co., 124 E. Grand Ave., Tower City PA 17980.
