SPORTS UPDATE Cats, Vikings set for semi games
The Halifax Area High School boys’ basketball team will host Berks Christian tonight (Monday, Feb. 25) in District 3, Class 1A semifinal action. Tipoff is 7 p.m.
Also tonight, the Williams Valley girls’ basketball team travels to Martz Hall, Pottsville, in District 11, Class 2A semifinal action against Mahanoy Area. Tipoff is 6 p.m.
Championship games are Wednesday, Feb. 27 for D3-1A and Thursday, Feb. 28 for D11-2A.
