TVL cage playoffs canceled; Halifax, Susquenita are champs
The Tri-Valley League (aka Tri-Valley Athletic Association) issued the following statement the morning of Feb. 13:
‘‘Due to the weather and other factors beyond our control, the TVAA Basketball Playoffs will be canceled, since we cannot get all necessary games in by the deadline.
‘‘Halifax boys will be the crowned the champion with a perfect 16-0 (record).
‘‘Susquenita girls will be crowned the champion with a perfect 16-0 record.
