The 2021 Pennsylvania NASP state archery tournament saw Sentinel-area archers finish 1-2 in both the High School Male and High School Female categories.

Halifax’s Sadie Wilhelm posted a 295, while Williams Valley’s Madison Shutt was runner-up with 290.
Another area archer, Line Mountain’s Jacob Rebuck, was third in the state among Middle School Males with a 279.
In team competition, Williams Valley and Line Mountain had the best finish among area programs that competed. They finished fourth and fifth among High School Teams with scores of 3254 and 3243, respectively (out of a possible 3600).
Normally held every March on the campus of Pennsylvania State University, this year’s tournament was held in a virtual format, with participants shooting targets under NASP guidelines between March 1-31, then forwarding those results to NASP officials. Placewinners were announced April 2.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, last year’s event was canceled two days before it was scheduled to begin.
