HEGINS • Shirley J. Wolfe, 67, died Oct. 1 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. She was born Aug. 17, 1952, in Hegins Twp., a daughter of the late Homer and Helen Bixler Morgan. She was a school bus driver for Bowman Brother’s prior to her retirement. She attended St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church, Valley View. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Peggy Reed. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Charles Wolfe; three sons: Ronald Wolfe of Lavelle, Richard Wolfe of Tremont and Kris Wolfe of Ashland; a daughter, Tammy Allvord of Beurys Grove; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four brothers: John Morgan of Tower City, Dale Morgan and Thomas Morgan, both of Hegins and Dennis Morgan of Gordon; two sisters, Patricia Neumeister of Minersville and Carol Deitrich of Lykens; and several nieces and nephews.
