Sharon Elaine Hoover

HARRISBURG • Sharon Elaine Hoover, 69, of Harrisburg, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020, at her home. Born July 3, 1951, in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late William and Pauline Michaels Rhoades. Sharon worked as a home health aide, working for many years at the Carlton Home, Wellsboro. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Hoover, Jan. 1, 2020,; and two sisters, Gloria Rhoades and Debra Hamlin. Surviving are two daughters, Judy DiMauro of Delaware and Lisa Cobaugh, of Harrisburg; four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; seven siblings, Geraldine Fair (Omar) of Manheim, Pauline Hylton (Ralph) of Jonestown, Patsy Klouser (Kevin) of Tower City, her twin Karen Palmer of Orwin, Judy Noll (Lawrence) with whom Sharon resided, William Rhoades (Lisa) of Arizona and Cindy Rhoades of Hershey; and nieces and nephews.
