William Valley archery team wins team title in state-qualifying tournament The Williams Valley archery team won the team championship of a 2018-19 state qualifying tournament. The Millersburg Indians Invitational Archery State Qualifier tournament was held Jan. 26 in Manning Gymnasium at Millersburg high school.

The Archery Update
MILLERSBURG • Williams Valley scored 3323 out of a possible 3600 points to win its second straight team championship of the 2018-19 state tournament qualifying rounds in the Sentinel-area. WV prevailed over 10 other teams at the predominantly high school tournament, held Jan. 26 in Manning Gymnasium. (Some middle school archers competed as well.) The competition also saw reigning individual state champion Brooke Shaffer of UDA finish atop the Girls Division. Sentinel-area team and individual results are as follows:
