MILLERSBURG • Ruth K. Barge, age 83, of Millersburg, Pa., passed away April 9, 2019, at Premier at Susquehanna Village. She was born July 6, 1935, in Big Run, Pa., daughter of the late Arthur Keister and Naomi (Fetterhoff) Keister of Loyalton. Ruth was the wife of Clarence Barge of Millersburg, to whom she was married for 65 years. Ruth was retired from Seal Glove in Millersburg where she worked as a seamstress. She had a love for country and bluegrass music. She enjoyed spending time with and caring for her five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Ruth is survived by her two children, Sue Smith (Wayne) of Millersburg and Kevin Barge (Diane) of Mechanicsburg; grandchildren Brian Smith (Heather), Amy Tota, Ian Barge, Colby Barge and Collin Barge; great-grandchildren Paige, Alexis, Emily, Logan and Bella. She also is survived by a sister Margaret Paul. Ruth was preceded in death by a sister Arlene Novinger and brothers William and Robert Keister. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that friends make a donation to their favorite charity in Ruth’s honor.
