Rose Marie Weaver

HALIFAX • Rose Marie Weaver, 73, of Enola, formerly of Halifax, died Nov. 28, 2020, at home. She was born Aug. 1, 1947, in Wiconisco, Pa., the daughter of the late John and Marie Witmer. Rose was married to Kenneth E. Weaver Sr. for 55 years. She retired as file clerk from Merchants and Businessmans Mutual Insurance Co., Harrisburg. She was a life member of the Halifax VFW Post No. 5750 Ladies Auxiliary. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Kenneth E. Weaver Jr. and his husband Brian Lehman of Enola and Kerry G. Weaver and his wife Jennifer Weaver of Halifax; grandchildren, Tyler Weaver and Hannah Weaver; a great-grandson, Christopher; step-grandchildren, Danyel, Dylan, and Kade; and step-great granddaughters, Brooke and Olivia. She was preceded in death by brother Dennis L. Witmer. A funeral service was held Dec. 5, 2020, at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home Ltd., Millersburg. Burial was in Riverview Memorial Gardens, Halifax.
