ONO • Ronald N. Miller, 80, died Aug. 18 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. He was born Oct. 9, 1938, in Helfenstein, a son of the late Nelson and Irene Dean Miller. He was a U.S. Marine veteran, serving from 1956-1959 where he was assigned to radio communication /cryptology. He earned his GED while in the service. He was a retired electrician from Ft. Indiantown Gap, Annville. Following retirement, he was an electrician for M & M Electric. He attended Fredericksburg Baptist Church and was a member of the SB76 Group, Harrisburg. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jean Seyfert. He is survived by his wife, Jo Zimmerman Miller; three children: Dean Miller of Tower City, Michelle Blauch of Jonestown and Rhonda Trokie of Lebanon; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, David Miller of Helfenstein; a sister, Bernice Griffiths of Mount Carmel; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held Saturday, Aug. 31 at noon from the Ono United Methodist Church, 9 Main St., Ono. Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-noon at the church. Burial with military honors will be held at a later date at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Fredericksburg Baptist Church, 148 N. Center St., Fredericksburg, PA 17026.
