PINE GROVE • Ronald J. Lyons, 84, died Sept. 22 at his residence. He was born Nov. 3, 1934, in Pottsville, a son of the late John and Martha Ossman Lyons. He was an Army National Guard veteran. He was retired from Hershey Foods, Hershey. He was a member of Most Blessed Trinity Parish, Tremont, and the Pine Grove VFW. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Lyons; and three sisters: Theresa Binkley, Rita Wolfe and Anna Marie Lyons. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Elizabeth Shaud Lyons; two children, Danielle Sholl and Sean Lyons, both of Pine Grove; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Sept. 27 from Most Blessed Trinity Parish, Tremont. Burial with military honors was in the parish cemetery.
