CAMP HILL • Robert L. Fromme Sr.. formerly of Lykens, passed away Thursday Feb. 6, 2020, at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill, Pa. Robert was born Oct. 12, 1921, in Williamstown, Pa., to the late Eamil and Sadie Wetzel Fromme. He was a graduate of the former Williamstown High School, an Army Air Corp. veteran of World War II, retired after 40 years of service from Western Electric and was the former owner of Fromme’s Upholstery and a member of the Lykens United Methodist Church. Bob was a talented artist and was a kind and gentle soul and will always be remembered for his great kindness to others. He is survived by a son Robert L. Fromme Jr.; a daughter Diane Klinger; a grandson Troy Klinger; a granddaughter Natalie Bonislawski; and 12 great-grandchildren. Bob was preceded in death by his loving wife Betty M. Schreffler Fromme; a son John; and a grandson Todd Klinger. Funeral services were held Feb. 11, 2020, from the Lykens United Methodist Church, 527 N. Second St., Lykens, Pa. Burial was in Calvary United Methodist Cemetery, Wiconisco, Pa. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Robert’s memory to his church at the above address.
