HEGINS • Robert F. Scheib, 86, died May 25, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. He was born Nov. 1, 1932, in Gratz, a son of the late Lester and Margaret Troutman Scheib. He was a self-employed farmer. He was a member of Christ United Church of Christ, Fountain. He was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Scheib; and two brothers, Clarence Scheib and Donald Scheib. He is survived by two daughters, Cindy Bloch and Debra Conrad, both of Hegins; five grandchildren; 11 greatgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Per his request, there will be no services.
