TOWER CITY • Robert D. Evans, 66, of Tower City, died Jan. 13 at the Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born in Lykens, Sept. 28, 1952, a son of the late Dean and Avonelle James Evans.
He was a 1970 graduate of Williams Valley High School.
He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was a member of the Ebenezer E.C. Church, Williams-town.
He was employed for more than 25 years at Guilford Mills, Pine Grove.
Surviving are his wife, Martha Schrope Evans; one daughter, Coral Evans, Tower City; sister, Kimberly Evans, and brother, Rodney Evans, both of Williamstown.
Services will be held Thursday, Jan. 17 at 10 p.m. from Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
