PITMAN • Robert “Bubby” Haas, 92, died Dec. 30, at his residence. He was born April 25, 1926, in Pitman, a son of the late Daniel and Edna Fetterolf Haas. He was a lifelong farmer, owning and operating Oak Grove Farms, Pitman. He was a member of St. Paul’s EC Church and had served on the official church board; and a member of the Mahantongo Fire Co. and the Woodmen of the World Lodge 433, both of Pitman. He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Dorothy Carpenter Haas; and two sisters, Eleanor Shaffer and an infant Orpha Haas. He is survived by three daughters: Jean Neye and Linda Fetterolf, both of Klingerstown, and Melissa Snyder of Elizabethtown; a son, Kevin Haas, of Pitman; a brother, Willard Haas of Lewisburg; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services will be held Thursday, Jan. 3 at 11 a.m. at St. Paul’s EC Church, Pitman. Visitation will be held from 9:30-11 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery.
