Roadwork in Upper Paxton Twp.
MILLERSBURG • The Upper Paxton Twp. supervisors have announced the following upcoming roadwork projects:
• Paving on Landfill Rd., week of Monday-Friday, July 13-17. The road might not be accessible to through traffic for several days, according to supervisors.
• A construction project on W. Pearl St. at the railroad underpass is scheduled to begin Monday, July 13 and continue through the end of August, depending on the weather. Excavation is scheduled to begin Monday, July 20.
According to supervisors, the project will stabilize the road to provide flood protection.
The railroad bridge is situated over the Wiconisco Creek. W. Pearl St. ends at MYO Park.
Motorists and residents are urged to avoid this area during daytime construction hours Monday-Friday.
MYO Park will be accessible to pedestrians via the swinging bridge.
