Richard H. Coady Jr.
HALIFAX • Richard H. Coady Jr., 79, of Deitrich Rd., went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2020, at UPMC West Shore.
He was born April 17, 1941, in Clairmont, N.H., the son of the late Richard and Agnes Coady.
He served in the U.S. Air Force as a jet engine mechanic. He worked and retired from PP&L.
He was a lifetime member at various VFW and Legion posts. He enjoyed many hobbies with hunting and fishing as his favorites.
He is survived by his partner of many years, Diane Wertz; son, Richard P. Coady and wife Patti; daughter, Cheaselle O’Malley and husband Kevin; sisters, June Rossi and Billie Cohen; and two grandchildren, Travis Coady and Misty O’Malley.
A celebration of life service is planned for the spring of 2021.
The family requests that memorial donations may be made to Gratz VFW or Millheim American Legion.
