ANNVILLE • Phyllis M. Leitzel, age 89, formerly of Millersburg, passed away Feb. 9, 2020. She was born Nov. 7, 1930, in Berrysburg, daughter of the late John and Rayda (Bohner) Miller. She was the widow of William R. Leitzel. She was a member of Annville United Methodist Church and former member of First United Methodist Church, Millersburg. She had worked in the past for Leitzel’s Jewelry, Millersburg. She enjoyed caring for flowers and watching the Philadelphia Phillies and Sixers. Surviving are her children, Tamela Thompson, Harrisburg and Stephanie (W. Michael) Gaffey, Palmyra; two brothers, Mertis “Bud” Miller and Dennis E. Miller, both of Millersburg; three grandchildren: Ashley Fox, Scott Gaffey and Victoria Gaffey; two great-grandchildren, Teagan Fox and Kassidy Fox. Memorial services were held Feb 14, 2020, at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Homes Ltd, Millersburg. Private family burial followed the service at Sweitzers Memorial Cemetery, Berrysburg.
