Phyllis M. Forney

ELIZABETHVILLE • Phyllis M. Forney of Elizabethville, Pa., passed away Friday Dec. 18, 2020, at Frey Village, Middletown, Pa. Phyllis was born Dec. 5, 1935, at New Brunswick, Canada, to the late Wilmont and Artheline Riouh Murphey. She was a retired sales representative for the former Helt’s Furniture Store, Lykens, was a member of the Gratz VFW, was a sales representative for Avon since the 1950s and enjoyed gardening. Phyllis is survived by a son John M. Forney and his wife Carol and two grandchildren Michael and Kyle. In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband Gordon D. Forney.
