MILLERSBURG • Percita Elizabeth Wertz, 95, of Millersburg, formerly of Dalmatia, passed away Jan. 16, 2020, at Premier at Susquehanna, Millersburg. She was born in Mandata, Feb. 22, 1924, a daughter of the late Ida and Harry Engle. Percita was employed as a seamstress for Puritan Fashions. She was a member of St. Luke’s United Church of Christ, Malta. Percita is survived by her daughter, Cinda (Gary) Grimm of Dalmatia; two grandsons, Sean Grimm and Ryan (Rachel) Grimm; great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Eli Grimm; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clair Wertz; brothers, Harry, Howard and Alvin Engle; and a sister, Josephine Conrad. Memorial services will be held Saturday, Jan. 25, 2020, at 11 a.m. at St. Luke’s UCC, Malta. Interment will take place in St. Luke’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Luke’s Church or a favorite charity. James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow, is in charge of the arrangements.
