HALIFAX • Pearl Mary Enterline, of Halifax, passed away peacefully onto her heavenly home Saturday Nov. 10, 2018, at the age of 87.
She was reunited with her husband of 68 years, Russel, who preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by her two brothers Mark and Lester Bowman; and her sister Rhoda Wilmsen.
She was born March 23, 1931, the daughter of the late Wayne and Beatrice Bowman in Sacramento, Pa. She attended Hubley High School where she participated in many musical productions.
Pearl enjoyed sewing, attending craft shows as a vendor, cooking for her family, watching the Philadelphia Phillies, tending to her flowers, and watching her birds at the feeders outside her windows. Pearl worked at “The Treat” restaurant and Needleworks Textile factory for many years. She was a former member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Enterline. She participated in Farm Women Group No. 10 and the Lykens Valley Roamers camping chapter.
She is survived by her son Gary (Debbie) of Mount Joy; daughter Beverly Snyder (James) of Halifax, and daughter Donna Enders (Doug) of Elizabethville; a sister Leah Underkoffler of Halifax; grandchildren Julie Rhoades, Dane Snyder, Emma Enders and Abbie Enders; great-grandchildren Wesley, Hayden and Grant Rhoades and Londyn Snyder. Also her grand doggies Lucky Russel and Ruby Pearl Enterline.
A Celebration of Life service was held Nov. 19 at Halifax UM Church. Private inurnment was in Bowermans Church Cemetery in Enterline.
