ELIZABETHVILLE • Pauline E. Lahr, age 93, passed away surrounded by her loving family May 28, 2021, at her home. She was born March 31, 1928, in Northampton, Pa., the daughter of the late Harry and Stella (Fehnel) Edelman. Pauline was one of 17 siblings, who grew up on their family farm in Klecknersville, Pa. She was the widow of William J. Lahr, (1989) and Julius Frank Adams (2007). She worked as a seamstress and trimmer at Big Yank in Millersburg, Pa. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Fisherville. Her hobbies and interests included gardening, cooking and her love for pencil coloring. Pauline loved spending time with her family. She loved to cook and bake, her apple pies were the best! Her laughter and smiles were contagious and she loved listening to country music. Surviving are her three sons, Richard and wife Dolores Lahr of Pillow, Larry and wife Lorraine Lahr of Berrysburg and Dennis and wife Patty Lahr of Middletown, Ohio; daughter-in-law, Jane Lahr of Halifax; 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren along with many loved nieces and nephews. Also surviving are sisters, Mary Silfies of Upper Nazareth Twp. and Eva Seyer and husband John of Chapman Quarries; and a brother, Robert Edelman of Moore Twp. She was preceded in death by her son, Terry Lahr, and great-grandson, Dylan Lahr. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family at Malta Cemetery.
