MILLERSBURG • Paul E. Rudy Jr., 64, of Wiconisco, Pa., died April 21, 2020, at Premier at Susquehanna Village in Millersburg.
He was born on Oct. 19, 1955, in Harrisburg, Pa., the son of the late Paul Rudy and Gloria (Walker) Rudy.
Paul served as a volunteer firefighter with Lemoyne and Lower Mahoney. He was a member of the Herndon fire police as well. He served as an EMT with Dalmatia, Area Services and Americus for many years. He enjoyed serving the community and being able to help anyone he met.
Paul will always be remembered for his sense of humor and witty remarks. He was a known jokester who would do anything to make people smile. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Surviving are his two sisters, Judi Ruby Singer and Donna Rudy; two brothers, Bobby Rudy and Edward Rudy II; three daughters, Tasha Rudy, Danielle Shrawder and Ariel Rudy; and two sons Paul Rudy III and Zachary Rudy. He is also survived by multiple grandchildren.
A private service for the family will be held. The family will announce a Celebration of Life get-together at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the funeral home to help offset the cost of the funeral. Donations by mail can be made out to Minnich Family Funeral Homes, PO Box 386, Millersburg PA 17061. You also can donate through Tribute Fund by visiting Paul’s obituary at minnichfuneral.com
