LYKENS • Helen L. Koons, age 67, passed away Dec. 29, 2019, at Harrisburg Hospital. She was born May 2, 1952, in Harrisburg, daughter of the late Henry and Helen (Machamer) Chupik. She attended Miller’s Church, Halifax. She enjoyed shopping and bowling and spending time with her granddaughter. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Rodney D. Koons; daughter, Shannon D. (Ken) Mase, Williams-town; and son, Ryan D. Koons (companion Eliza Pratt) Elizabethville; granddaughter, Autumn N. Koons. There will be a graveside service held Thursday, Jan. 9, 2020, at Miller’s Church Cemetery, Halifax, at 1 p.m. Rev. Ray Hackett will officiate.
