Norwood E. Erdman

DALMATIA • Norwood E. Erdman, 85, of Dalmatia died Sept. 15 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. He was born in Klingerstown Nov. 20, 1933, a son of the late Mae and Whalen “Jake” Erdman. Norwood was employed as a carpenter and mason for many years. He served in the Pa. National Guard. He was a member of the American Legion, Dalmatia, Kiwanis Club and Hickory Corners Fire Co. He is survived by his two sons, Gregg Erdman and Tom Erdman; daughter, Peggy Sultzenbuger; stepdaughter, Dawn Schaffner; stepson, David Hollenbach; four grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and a sister, Linda Leitzel. He was preceded in death by two wives Carol and Nancy Erdman, one grandchild, brother, Arlo “Dutch” Erdman, and sister, Judy Reedinger. Visitation will be held Friday, Sept. 20 from 10-11 a.m. at James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Interment will take place in Riverview Memorial Park, Halifax.
