HALIFAX • Noble Robert Flohr, age 88, of Halifax, died peacefully Dec. 10, 2019, at UPMC Pinnacle in Harrisburg. He was born Feb. 20, 1931, in Turtle Creek, Pa., son of the late William and Josephine (Figard) Flohr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lynne Esther (Botts) Flohr. He was a retired brick and stone mason. He was a member of the Elizabethville Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Noble was a loving father and grandfather. He loved farming, hunting and the outdoors. He also loved camping and instilled that love of nature in his children and grandchildren. Surviving are his sons, David, his wife Wanda, Darrin, his wife Monica and their children: Colby, Ethan, Kylee Christian and Wyatt; daughter, Angela and husband Fred Bednar Jr. and their children: Rebecca Hower and Nicholas; Lisa and husband James Sheetz and their daughter, Morgan; his cousins, Carolyn Forester and Margaret Hess, who were like sisters to him. A memorial service was held Dec. 15, 2019, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnessess, 322 West Broad St., Elizabethville, PA 17023.
