WILLIAMSTOWN • Nathan J. Michaels, 59, of Williamstown, passed away very unexpectedly Monday, June 21, 2021, at his home. Born Sept. 23, 1961, in Pottsville, he was a son of the late Ralph Michaels and Nancy Deiter. Nathan was employed by Metal Industries, Gratz, and was looking very forward to retirement in two years. Nathan could often be found at his favorite place, his camp along the Juniata River in Newport. He enjoyed being in the company of his family and friends. Surviving are his wife of 34 years, Laurie A. Rubendall Michaels; a daughter, Brandi L. McIntyre and her husband Joel, Shamokin; two grandsons, Blake and Logan McIntyre; two sisters, including Marie Trayer, Williamstown; and nieces and nephews. A public visitation was held June 26, 2021, from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home Inc., Tower City.
