Nancy R. Kehler
MILLERSBURG • Nancy R. Kehler, formerly of Millersburg, passed away May 12, 2020, at her residence in Mechanicsburg.
She was born Aug. 18, 1943, a daughter of the late George A. Russell and Mary Arlene Boyer Russell.
She was the widow of John R. Kehler, Sr.
Nancy was a graduate of Millersburg Area High School, class of 1961.
She was retired from Ohio Casualty Life Insurance where she worked as a secretary. She also volunteered as a caregiver and enjoyed helping others.
She was a member of Christian Life Assembly in Camp Hill. Nancy loved entertaining and making people laugh. She enjoyed being outside, gardening and going camping with family. She especially loved ice cream. Nancy will be greatly missed by her family and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
She is survived by her daughter Nanette Kehler of Mechanicsburg; sons, John R. Kehler Jr. and his wife Kristi of Etters, and Thomas R. Kehler and his wife Marcy of New Cumberland; five grandchildren, Kyle, Madeline, Kendra, Kaden and Nicholas; one great-grandchild, Brooklyn; her fiance, Jan Sponseller of Carlisle; and her sister Susan R. Thomas and husband Jeff of Collierville, Tenn.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Terry L. Russell.
The family will have a private graveside service at Rolling Green Cemetery in Camp Hill. There will be a Celebration of Life for Nancy at a later date. The family will announce details at that time.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago IL 60601 or to Homeland Hospice at 2300 Vartan Way,
