HALIFAX • Nancy Matchett, age 82, passed away Jan. 21, 2021. Nancy was born in Halifax, daughter of the late Clyde and Annie (Stoneroad) Rummel. She was the widow of William Matchett. Nancy is survived by three daughters, Vicki and her husband Steve Shade of Millersburg, Kandi and her husband Edward Haines of Halifax, and Patti Matchett of Harrisburg; four grandchildren Ashley, Alyson and Brett Shade and Billee Matchett; three stepgrandchildren Jade Miller and Ian and Cassidy Haines; and three great-grandchildren, Leona Dufour, Ancel Dufour and Natalee Knode; and two stepgreat- grandchildren Christopher Williams and Lennon Miller and a sister, Evelyn Miller. Nancy was a member of Halifax United Methodist Church. Halifax. She was a member of the Hallmark collectors club and was an Avon representative for more than 40 years. There will be a visitation held at her church Friday, Jan. 29, 2021, from 10-11 a.m. Please practice social distancing during the visitation. No services will be held at this time, and the burial in the church cemetery will be private.
