TOWER CITY • Michelle R. Garner, 41, of Pottsville, formerly of Tower City, passed away Sunday, Jan. 17, 2021, at the St. Luke’s Hospice House, Bethlehem. Michelle was born Feb. 10, 1979, in Pottsville. She graduated from the Schuylkill Intermediate Unit. She was baptized in the Lutheran faith at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Tower City. She is survived by her mother and step-father, Lori Luckenbill Hoy and Joe Hoy of Tower City; her father, John Garner of Tower City; a brother, Jason Garner and his wife Tabatha of Tower City; two sisters, Nicole and Megan Hoy, both of Harrisburg; her grandparents, Ken and Janice Luckenbill of Tower City; and aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home Inc., with Pastor Laura Csellak. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.
