WILLIAMSTOWN • Michael Earl Oxenrider, age 74, of Millersburg, Pa., went to be with the Lord Dec. 17, 2020. He was born May 3, 1946, in Upper Paxton Twp., Pa., the son of the late Clinton Alfred and Daisy Sophia (Clark) Oxenrider. Nov. 2, 1968, Michael married his loving wife, Faye (Lucas) Oxenrider after returning from serving his country in the Army during the Vietnam War. Michael was employed by Brubaker Tools as a machinist and retired in 2003. He attended Grace United Methodist Church. Michael had always wanted children and was proud to be a father of three. His children viewed their dad as the kindest, most understanding man. He was always there for his family through their ups and downs. He taught them to enjoy life, never complain and to accept others for who they are. Michael’s favorite pastimes were being with his family, swimming and going to the beach. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to everyone. Survivors include his beloved wife Faye of 52 years; daughters, Lisa Miller and Laurie Birk and spouse Ted; son, Michael Oxenrider Jr. and spouse Stephanie, six grandchildren, Megan Rhen, Shawn Croft, Jacob Cerro, Summer Oxenrider, Sierra Oxenrider and Caden Oxenrider; three sisters: Carole Kratzer, Margie Straub and Nancy Paul, and many nieces and nephews. Michael was preceded in death by his brother, Clinton Oxenrider. Minnich Family Funeral Homes Inc., Williamstown, Pa., will hold a private funeral service; a graveside service with military honors will be held Tuesday, Dec. 29 at 3 p.m. at Greenwood Memorial Cemetery, Tower City. In the summer of 2021, a celebration of life service will be held so all family and friends can attend to pay their respects.
