DALMATIA • Melvin W. Klinger, 78, of Dalmatia, passed away Dec. 22, 2020, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. He was born April 24, 1942, in Jordan Twp., a son of the late Sadie and Daniel C. Klinger. Melvin was employed at Muskin Shoe and later at Brubaker Tool in Millersburg. He enjoyed tractor pulling, hunting and motorcycle riding. Melvin is survived by his wife Jacqueline Klinger; son, Melvin Klinger Jr.; sister, Arlene Wilbert; nieces and nephews, James Wilbert Jr., Rod Wilbert, Hayden Conrad, Jeffrey Bingaman, Monica Paul, Karen Hoy, Shae Conrad and Janelle Hooper; brother-in-law, George Conrad; and sister-in-law, Laurie Bingaman. He was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Klinger, and a sister, Romaine Peifer. A private family service was held Dec. 29, 2020, at James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow.
