LYKENS • Mary Lou Schoffstall, 83, of Lykens, formerly of Wiconisco, passed away Friday, March 5, 2021, at the Hershey Medical Center. Born in Lykens, Jan. 2, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Hyman and Ann Marie Piano Fetterhoff. Mary Lou was a retired seamstress from the former Lebro Shirt Factory, Lykens. She was of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casinos and doing word search books and crosswords. Mary Lou was a big fan of Elvis Presley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles “Chal” Schoffstall, March 5, 2007. Surviving are her children, Rose Klinger and her husband Bill “Coz,” Lykens; Chal Schoffstall and his wife Ina, Elizabethville, and Susan Shaak and her husband George, Lebanon; a sister, Donna Updegrove, Orwin; six grandchildren, Billy, Heather, Scott, Amanda, Holly and Chase; 15 great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, March 10, 2021, at 11 a.m. from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc., Tower City. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. at the chapel following all CDC guidelines. Burial will be in the Calvary United Methodist Cemetery, Wiconisco. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 3350 Paxton St., Suite 5, Harrisburg, PA 17111.
