LYKENS • Marlene A. Wiest of Lykens, Pa., passed away Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2019, at Claremont Nursing and Rehab Center, Carlisle, Pa. Marlene was born Oct. 2, 1937, at Tower City, Pa., to the late Lester and Clara Hile Enterline. She was a graduate of the former Lykens High School and a member of the Lykens United Methodist Church where she was active with the church women’s group. She was a lifelong homemaker, devoted caregiver and enjoyed cooking, baking and above all spending time with her friends, family and grandchildren. Surviving are her husband of 63 years James A. Wiest; daughters Kim Wiest, Karen May and husband Ken, and Kelly Scheib and husband Tim; grandchildren Justin, Jennifer, Lauren, Andrew, Samuel, Ryan and Abigail; great-grandchildren Lillian, Abram, Sloane and Kennedy; a brother Lester Enterline and a sister Joyce Clark. Marlene was preceded in death by a brother Russell Enterline, and sisters Carol Mattern and Joyce Enterline. Funeral services were held Oct. 28 at Lykens United Methodist Church, 527 North Second St., Lykens, Pa., with Rev. Lori Betsworth officiating. Burial was in Riverview Memorial Gardens, Halifax, Pa.
