Mark F. Schreffler

Linn, W.V. • Mark F. Schreffler, 78, of Linn, W.V., died Jan. 20 at Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital.
He was born April 16, 1940, in Dornsife, the son of Frazier and Irene (Latsha) Schreffler.
He was the husband of Betty A. (Beachel) Schreffler for 57 years. They resided in Dornsife until July 2018.
He served in the Pennsylvania National Guard and was a member of the American Legion.
He was employed as a mechanical draftsman by Kennedy Van Saun, Danville, for more than 30 years.
He was a longtime member of the former Rebuck Wesleyan Church and served as treasurer for 25 years. He currently attended the Sand Fork Church of God and Prophecy.
Survivors include his wife; children, Lisa Wood of Dornsife, David Schreffler of Allentown, Rachel Brown of Linn, W.V., and Michele Hughes of Herndon; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Ellen Schreffer and Betty Lou Schwab.
He was predeceased by sister, Pauline Wolf and brothers, Ray Beissel and Carl Schreffler.
Services were held Jan. 25 at The Hub Wesleyan Church, 1329 Schwaben Creek Rd., Dornsife, PA 17823. Internment followed in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The Hub Wesleyan Church or the Sand Fork Church of God and Prophecy, P.O. Box 320, Sand Fork, WV 26430.
James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow, was in charge of the arrangements.
