HICKORY CORNERS • Marjorie Ella Klinger, 97, died Nov. 24 at Manor Care, Sunbury. She was born July 17, 1922, a daughter of the late Charles and Gertie Bingaman Lehman. After graduating high school, she worked as a housekeeper/ nanny. She also worked in the school food service at Dalmatia Elementary School. She was a Cub and Boy Scout leader, later a Brownie and Girl Scout leader in the Dalmatia area; Hickory Corners Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary, and a member of St. Paul’s UCC, Urban, for 82 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Klinger; two sons, Randy and Thom Klinger, three sisters: Thelma Dreibelbis, Anna Smeltz and Dorothy Weaver; and two brothers, Kenneth and Kermit Lehman. She is survived by two sons, Fred Klinger of Globe, Ariz., and Jim Klinger of Dalmatia; two daughters, Becky Wynn of Dalmatia and Suzy Oldt of Akron, Pa.; a sister, Betty Hepner; two brothers, Marvin and Bruce Lehman; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Services were held Nov. 29 at St. Paul’s UCC, Urban. Interment was in St. Paul’s Cemetery. James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow, was in charge of the arrangements.
