Marie H. Bonanni

WICONISCO • Marie H. Bonanni, 92, of Mechanicsburg and formerly of Camp Hill, passed away Monday, May 3, 2021, at Bethany Village. Born July 16, 1928, in Wiconisco, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mabel (Troutman) Harman. Marie was retired from United Telephone/Sprint in Carlisle, where she had served as a staff assistant to the treasurer. She was a former member of Bowmansdale Church of God, was an avid golfer who enjoyed playing in the women’s league at Range End Golf Club as well as on courses in Myrtle Beach in the wintertime. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, going for walks and loved hosting Thanksgiving for many years. Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Clair A. Bonanni; her brothers, Charles and Joseph Harman; her sister, Sara Harman Kissinger; and her niece, Renee Smeltz. She is survived by her nephews, Joseph and Scott Harman; her nieces, Jan Harman and Sarina Schaeffer; and several grand-nieces and nephews. Private graveside services will be held in St. John’s (Peace Church) Cemetery.
