WILLIAMSTOWN • Maria H. Williard, 83, died Dec. 16 at Hershey Medical Center. She was born Jan. 5, 1936, in Sulzdorf, Germany, a daughter of the late Andreas and Anna Schweibold. She retired in 2005 from the Penn State Agriculture Department, where she taught nutrition and helped with the 4-H Club. She was an active member of Calvary Independent Church, where she played the piano for 22 years. She formerly was a member of Muir Four Square Church, where she taught school and played the piano. She is survived by two daughters, Eileen Oxenrider of Tower City and Maureen Dolan of Williamstown; two grandsons; a greatgrandson; and a great-great grandson; a sister, Annette Vogel and two brothers, Gunter and Walter Schweibold, all of Germany. Services were held Dec. 21 at Calvary Independent Church, Lykens. Burial was in the Methodist Cemetery, Williamstown.
