HALIFAX • Margaret E. Deiter of Halifax, Pa., passed away Wednesday July 3, 2019, at home. She was born April 6, 1924, in Jackson Twp., Dauphin County, to the late William and Alice Shutt Schell. Margaret was a member of St. James Church, Carsonville, and Farm Women Group No. 15 and enjoyed quilting. She is survived by sons Robert L. Deiter and wife Kay, Woodrow W. Deiter and wife Carolyn; daughter Denise Lucas and husband Dale; daughter-in-law Nancy Deiter and numerous grand, great and great-great-grand-children. Services were held July 8, 2019, from the John R. Shultz Funeral Home, Lykens, Pa. Interment was in St. James Cemetery, Carsonville, Pa. In lieu of flowers, memorial donation in Margaret’s name may be made to Homeland at Home, Hospice, 2300 Vartan Way, Suite 270, Harrisburg, PA 17110. John R.
