MILLERSBURG • Margaret A. Enders, 98, died Feb. 15, 2020, and went to her eternal home in heaven. She was a resident at the Jewish Home of Greater Harrisburg. She was born May 26, 1921, in Rough-and-Ready, Pa., the daughter of the late John and Vertie (Schlegel) Reed. She retired as a cleric of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; before that she worked for Muskin Shoe Co., but for most of her life she enjoyed being a homemaker, caring for her family and her garden. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Berrysburg, and a life member of the Millersburg Moose. She is survived by her daughter Alverta and her husband Armin Etzweiler, a son Larry Enders and his wife Christine, a son Delmar Enders and his wife Ginny, 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son James Clarence Enders, a daughter Bernita Nadine Holt, a granddaughter Monica, two brothers and six sisters. Graveside services will be held at Riverview Memorial Gardens Friday, Feb. 21 at 10 a.m. A memorial service will follow at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Berrysburg, at 11 a.m. The family requests that memorial donations may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church, 215 St. John Road, Elizabethville, PA 17023.
