ENOLA • Luke Edmund Smeltz, 54, of Enola, went to Heaven Friday, Nov. 8, 2019. He was at home surrounded by his family. He was a project manager/soil scientist for Skelly and Loy, Inc., Harrisburg. He was a Pennsylvania Certified SEO and Certified Professional Soil Scientist. He was a member of Brethren in Christ Church. He enjoyed spending time with family, gardening, listening to music, singing, evenings by the fire pit, anytime spent outdoors, Penn State Football, reading and learning new things. He is survived by his wife Kelly Jo (Haring) Smeltz; parents, Edmund and Doris (Keefer) Smeltz of Lewisburg; three daughters: Rachael E. Greene (Joel) of Camp Hill, Hannah M. Smeltz (Michael Inman) of Harrisburg, and Abigail L. Rivera (Tyler) of Enola; brother, Steven; two sisters, Rebecca Newton and Deborah Gessner; and seven grandchildren: Brooklyn, Khaleesi, Zaya, Lukas, Autumn, Zoe and Tessa. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the Celebration of Luke’s life at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 16 at The Meeting House, 1155 Walnut Bottom Rd., Carlisle.
