LYKENS TWP. • Louis R. March, 88, of Lykens Twp., died March 16, at his residence. He was born Sept. 22, 1930, in Millersburg, a son of the late Bessie and Edgar March. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was employed as an oil field worker in Alaska for many years. He was a member of Seward Assembly of God and the Millersburg Assembly of God. He was preceded in death by a son, Louie March Jr.; a daughter, Barbara March; and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by two sons, Larry March and Eric March; a daughter, Elaine Peterson; a brother, Fred March; five sisters: Barbara Hartwig, Janet Rumfelt, June Hoist, Adelaide Loftus and Harriet Messner. Services were held March 21, at Millersburg Assembly of God, Millersburg. Burial was in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow, is in charge of arrangements.
