LYKENS TWP. • Lorraine M. Wiest, 87, of Lykens Twp., passed away June 18, 2021, at the Hospice of Central Pennsylvania Carolyn’s House, Harrisburg. She was born Feb. 5, 1934, a daughter of Mabel A. and Charles E. Schrader. She was the wife of the late Walter L. Wiest, who preceded her in death in 1984. She worked at Blyler’s Fruit Farm and the Berrysburg Retirement Home and Lykens Twp. Elections. She was the coordinator of Meals on Wheels 1988-2020. Lorraine is survived by six sons, David Keiffer, Donald Wiest Sr., Lamar Wiest, Jeffery (Sharon) Wiest, Clair Wiest, Andy Wiest; two daughters, Rita (John) Yorty and Diane (James) Neiswender; 10 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Nevin Schrader and Leroy Schrader. She was preceded in death by son, Larry Wiest; sisters, Ada Glace and Mary Marie Harner; and brothers, Charles Schrader and Cloyd Schrader. A viewing will be held Saturday, June 26, 2021, 11 a.m.-noon, at Simeon United Lutheran Church, Gratz, followed by a graveside service at noon at the Gratz Union Cemetery.
